Last December was the beginning of a difficult journey for my family. The week before Christmas, my son called me from college and was vomiting blood. He was taken by ambulance to University Hospital where he was diagnosed with dehydration and flu. His chest X-ray came back clear and he was sent home with me to rest.
He appeared to get a little better over the next two days, but suddenly declined drastically. I immediately brought him to the emergency department at West Chester Hospital – near our home in Mason – where he was diagnosed with pneumonia, admitted to the hospital and placed on fluids and antibiotics. The nurses did their best to make him comfortable, but later that day, his body suddenly seemed to go out of control. read more >>
I am proud to have been a patient at such a beautiful hospital as West Chester Hospital. I felt like a VIP the whole time I stayed at the hospital – from the moment I walked through the front doors to the time I was discharged.

I have to say thank you to every single person who helped me including the front desk staff, the registration attendant, the nurses, physical therapists, laboratory technicians, doctors, and even the housekeeping staff!
Did I forget to mention how great the food was? No other hospital I’ve ever been to can come close to the food at WCH.
I’ll always recommend West Chester Hospital to anyone I know who needs any health care service.
