Early detection using bone density (DEXA) scanning is the best way to protect your self from the potentially debilitating effects of osteoporosis. The scanner is capable of performing complete bone density studies on the forearm, lumbar spine or femur, as well as vertebral assessments and body composition testing (i.e. % fat vs. % muscle).
